Katie & Mark | Branson Elopement Photographer
I am so excited to share Mark and Katie’s Big Cedar Elopement here on the blog. I know that I always say that I have a hard time choosing favorite images, but that was especially true for this wedding. You might remember Katie and Mark from their engagement session. They were such a great couple; I knew their wedding would be wonderful!
Katie and Mark gathered at Big Cedar Lodge with their families for a beautiful wedding on the balcony at the Fall’s Lodge. We could not have asked for better weather. In fact, the temperature was about the same as it was on the warm January day where we shot their engagement session. The weather was mild, and the clouds were blocking the sun, it was a photographers dream! After the ceremony, we were able to go to several spots on the property for bride and groom portraits. We also took a short trip to Top of the Rock, where we captured one of my favorite images to date. In case you’re wondering, it’s the silhouette! We were walking through the door, and I knew we had to stop and capture a few images right there.
I am so lucky to have great clients like Mark and Katie. I have realized that shooting elopements and small, intimate weddings is truly my favorite thing to do. If you’re looking for a Branson elopement photographer, I’d love to talk to you about your big day!
Here are a few of my favorite images from Katie and Mark’s special day. I told you that it was hard to choose favorites, and I think that you’ll see why! I picked a few from the first look, family portraits with the girls, ceremony photos, and then the bride and groom portraits.
Congrats again Mark and Katie!
