Laura & Jonathon’s Big Cedar Wedding
I was thrilled to be part of Jonathon and Laura’s Big Cedar Wedding this summer. The bride wore white, the groom wore navy blue, and they were surrounded by family and friends who had traveled from several states to support them on their big day.
Technically, Jonathon and Laura were already married. However, with deployment and then a pandemic, they had to wait a while to celebrate! They said they did everything backward, but I think it worked out perfectly!
Laura and Jonathan chose Big Cedar Lodge for their beautiful wedding ceremony.
What is Big Cedar Lodge? It’s not your typical hotel or resort property. Instead, it is a beautiful destination for weddings with an incredible setting nestled among the Ozark Mountains near Table Rock Lake; a perfect spot for Laura & Jonathan’s intimate ceremony with close family and friends in attendance.
Big Cedar Wedding Photographers
My favorite part about Laura and Jonathon’s wedding is that they did things their own way. They had no officiant, they did a First Look, and they made plenty of time for photos of the two of them plus plenty of photos for their guests.
As a Branson wedding photographer, this made me happy! Laura and Jonathon were the sweetest couple and so photogenic too!
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t take beautiful photos at noon, because I think this Big Cedar wedding proves that you can. I know a picture says 1000 words, so I’ll let you decide.

Here are some of my favorite photos from this stunning couple’s intimate Big Cedar wedding celebration.
If you’re debating doing a first look, do it! It’s such a special moment.
Big Cedar is the perfect backdrop for weddings with beautiful mountain views, immaculate landscaping, and of course, Table Rock Lake!
Let’s be honest though, these two would look good no matter what the scenery!
Laura and Jonathon were up for hiking all over the grounds at Big Cedar. Even though it was July and well over 90 degrees! Plus, Laura did it in heels!
The waterfalls at Big Cedar are one of my favorite photo spots.
The Amish Bridge is another favorite. It’s a bit of a hike but well worth it. Don’t worry, you can also drive as there is parking nearby!
The staff at the Worman House restaurant was kind enough to let us come up and take photos on their balcony as they got ready to open. I’m so glad we did!
