If you’ve been on the blog before, you might remember Kara and Sam’s Ha Ha Tonka Engagement session. I was so excited to shoot their wedding. Kara had everything planned out so perfectly. Good planning is the key to a smooth wedding day. Kara had an awesome timeline and because of that the entire wedding day went by without a hitch.

The timeline included plenty of time for portraits. I love it when couples set aside a good chunk of time for their portraits, bridal party portraits, and family photos. I had never been to the Little Piney Lodge, and it’s an absolutely beautiful location. If you’re looking for a Hermann wedding venue, I would highly recommend it! The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the venue is simply stunning.

I have mentioned it before, but shooting details is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. It may seem insignificant compared to other parts of the wedding day, but capturing every part of the wedding day is so important!

When you have a beautiful dress and a beautiful venue, you take advantage of it!

The process of getting ready is such a special time for the bride and her bridesmaids.
