Dale & Ashley | Springfield MO wedding photographer

I have to admit that I am a little behind on my blogging. I think that I say that on every blog post! It’s hard to keep up during a busy wedding season, but I will catch up with all of my blog posts over the next few weeks!

I met Dale and Ashley last year to discuss their wedding plans. They were a great couple and I was very excited for their engagement photos and their wedding. I shot both their engagement portraits and their wedding at the beautiful Venue 481. If you’re looking for a beautiful but quiet wedding venue close to Springfield MO, you should definitely check them out! Dale and Ashley had a beautiful wedding and their wedding party and guests were so friendly.

I also have to give a huge thank you to Simply Delicious Catering. Not many people know, but I have Celiac disease and I usually take my own snacks for weddings. The caterers offered me food more than once but I declined and stated that I couldn’t eat due to my food issues. One of the girls who on the catering staff (I wish I had caught her name) knew exactly what I could and couldn’t have and brought a plate for me. She even changed her gloves to get my plate ready, she said she also couldn’t have gluten and knew how hard it was. The food was delicious! Again, I don’t know who the girl was, but I really appreciate her going out of her way to make sure that I got to eat. Photographers get hungry too!

Back to the wedding, it was absolutely beautiful. I have to say that Ashley’s dress was my favorite dress of the year! It is so stunning. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their wedding. Congratulations again Dale & Ashley!
