Hey there, I’m Virginia, but you can call me Ginny!
I am the owner and primary photographer behind Branson Proposal & Family Photography!
My love for photography started as a child. My parents took a lot of photos of us kids growing up, and by the time I was a young teen, I had my first point-and-shoot digital camera. I started shooting professionally as a second shooter many years later, and in 2021, became the primary photographer for a friend’s photography business that I then purchased in 2022! Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of clients as the owner of Branson Proposal & Family Photography!
I specialize in proposals and extended family photography in Branson, and I love every minute of each session, but proposals are my passion! As the number one proposal photographer in Branson, Missouri, I find joy in capturing the pure love and happiness between two people during this special moment. It’s a privilege to be a part of such a joyous occasion and to create lasting memories for couples to cherish forever.

When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, cooking, crafting, playing guitar, and just being outside in nature. I strive to always show kindness to others, support local businesses within the community, and to leave the earth in better condition than I found it. The History of Branson Proposal & Family Photography, Formerly Amy Fillinger Photography
In 2012, Amy Fillinger founded Amy Fillinger Photography, primarily shooting weddings and extended family sessions in Branson, Missouri. Her exceptional work caught the attention of Shutter Magazine, which featured her wedding and portrait photography. A few years later, she expanded her expertise to include proposals and quickly became the most prominent proposal photographer in Branson, Missouri. Amy taught Virginia everything she knew about capturing proposals, and since 2022, Virginia has carried on the title as the number one proposal photographer in Branson! In 2018, Amy began building another business in travel. Virginia had already been working with Amy for years, second shooting or shooting video at weddings and proposals, and as Amy’s travel business grew, Virginia became more involved in the photography business, eventually becoming the primary photographer in 2021. In October 2022, Virginia purchased the business from Amy, and with it, Branson Proposal & Family Photography was born!
