Why family reunion photography?

Most families only get together once a year, at the very most. Having group portraits done is a great way to remember your time together. Many families travel to Branson for family reunions and family vacations every year. It has quickly become one of the two main types of photography that I do (the other one is weddings!) Having your family portraits done during a family vacation can be a lot of fun! In fact, I take measures to make sure that it’s the least stressful experience possible. I’ve been doing large family group photography for quite some time, and I have learned what works best. I always get a shot list beforehand, taking the stress off of everyone on picture day.

On the subject of family group portraits, I wanted to share a recent session with the Pamperien family. We shot these photos several months ago, but I wasn’t able to share them at the time since they were a Christmas gift. It was such a fun session (with so many babies!) that I wanted to share it while I was talking about family reunion photography.
